This Website does not automatically capture any specific personal information from the Users that allows the Department to identify them individually. Through the Citizen Portal, personal information of citizens including name, contact information, government identification details etc is collected, which is voluntarily provided by an individual. If a User chooses to provide personal information on visiting the Website, it will be utilized to provide better policing services for the User and the citizens of the state. The Department does not sell or share any personally identifiable information volunteered on this site to any third party (public/private). Any information provided to this Website will be protected from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. The Website does not collect personal information for any purpose other than to help the citizens when they need the services of the Uttar Pradesh Police Department and/or respond to them during an emergency.

The Department may also use the portal to collect feedback from the citizens. The feedback provided will be collected for improvement, and individual data will not be shared with any third party. The Website does not collect information or create individual profiles for commercial marketing.
