112 UP App and Citizen Portal are the official app and portal of 112 Project of UP Police. App and Portal are intended to assist citizens in emergencies related to public safety and security. In case of an emergency, information like gender, age, location, language will assist the police respond faster and in a more appropriate manner.
Police emergency services for public safety and security are being provided. We are also in the process of integrating Fire and Medical emergencies.
These services shall be provided throughout the State of Uttar Pradesh, including the rural areas. 
​These services shall be provided round-the-clock.
​If you are registered with 112, in a case of an emergency, the information already available will help the Police reach you faster. We will also attempt to improve our services for women and senior citizens and provide customized services.​
Apart from the identification information, the following information may be registered:My Emergency Contacts: Up to 5 emergency contacts may be registered. In case of emergency, SMS will be sent to all registered contacts from the user’s mobile phone.My Locations: Up to 5 locations of choice may be registered. You may register locations like My Home, My Parents Home, My Daughter’s School, My Bank, etc. The geographical coordinates of the location will be registered. When a registered user calls 112 in case of an emergency, his/her registered locations will be displayed on the police officer’s screen. This will assist us to locate the place of emergency faster to save critical time.My Languages: You may register known languages. You may indicate if you are willing to assist others in emergencies as a ‘Translation Volunteer’. This is intended to assist any person who speaks only a language for which a Communication Officer is not available with 112.

You may register languages known to you, and indicate if you are willing to assist others in emergencies as a ‘Language Volunteer’. You may be providing critical assistance to an individual in emergency by communicating her situation to 112 officers, who will then provide further assistance.

​If you have close relatives living in UP, you will be able to call 112 from outside UP, and indicate the location where emergency services are needed. This registration may help in minimizing critical time at the time of responding to emergency.
​All personal information given voluntarily will be utilized to provide better policing services for the user and other persons.  The Police Department does not sell or share any personally identifiable information volunteered on this site to any third party. ​You may see the action taken on an emergency call made by you to 112.
​A video, audio or a document may be uploaded relating to an emergency call made by you. The document shall be forwarded to the concerned police station for appropriate action.
